Frequencies of Consciousness in Music
So, as I have alluded to in the last post, music played a relatively significant role in my awakening journey. I would say it was just as influential as my experience with psychedelic mushrooms. Because really, music is a kind of psychedelic. What the artists produce is a reflection of their state of consciousness. And as pockets of the world become more and more conscious, we are also starting to get music that is closer and closer to God/Christ consciousness.
The way I approached music has some overlap with the way I approached reading A Course in Miracles (ACIM). In the sense that I feel into them as though they came from my own mind. It is as if my mind is “making love” to the music and fully understanding the consciousness behind it. And this was also how I read ACIM.
I used to be a pianist, and part of the reason for that was my affinity for the works of Chopin and Rachmaninoff. These are challenging pieces, but they motivated me to get to a certain level with piano. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent working on some of these pieces in detail and they have also helped to heal me. Unfortunately, I eventually developed fibromyalgia - pain in my hands and feet when I try to play or with intense usage, and I had to stop. But regardless, this period of my life (about 5 years ago now) helped me awaken further towards Christ’s state.
I will be talking more about music in the future and my recommendations of compositions that may help you awaken further to God/Kingdom of Heaven.
